This release contains  the support for K1EL Winkey. I know, that some of You have such a key. Please test and comment it. I could not test the paddle break-in. Would You please test it. Please read the K1EL winKey Help.

The package also contains two HTM files which must be copied into ..\RuntimeDoc\English\ and the WinKeyDLL.DLL which must  copied into the SWISSLOG directory

• Fixed most reported problems.
• I have not yet found Kunos  'Full System crash' Problem. The system crashes as soon as the TX-Option window is opened. Has anybody else the same Problem ??
• Fixed the Award Administration based on Hartmuts input.

I have prepared an installation program for this beta. It creates a new directory 'RuntimeDoc'.

You should install the Beat into the same directory as Your current version 5.2

In this Version I have added a new way to configure SWISSLOG. I always here, that SWISSLOG is to complicated. Therefore I have put the most important configuration Dialogs into one Window and added what I call 'Run Time Documentation'. It is a smaller version of the help files which are automatically displayed. This should force the user to read the help!

Under the main menu Files You find a new Menu Item Preferences

I have not yet deleted the menu items under Options

Let me know what You think and perhaps You can improve the Helpfiles.

I don't exactly know what else I have changed from the last version. The new Grid Control is now used in most windows. Also You can now filter on fields which are not displayed.

I have made some changes to the Telnet Server list. Because You may have Your private Changes I do not replace it. n case You want it You can download it here:

ATTENTION: The list is not backward compatible. I made a change so that a second list is created and used. If You have a problem You can delete Tenetservers.Bin. It will be recreated based on Tenetservers_orig.Bin

• If You have customized Your Views (Colors) please rename the following files

 SWLViewStyles.INI to  SWLViewStyles.STY

..\ini\SWLUserStyles.ini to ..\ini\SWLUserStyles.STY

• The New release contains the new Logbook View. It is based on the new Grid-Component with the extended Filtering. You can now filter on non-Visible Fields. You will see all fields available for filtering in the Filterdialog.
• There is also a new Exportformat XML and the formats for Excel and HTML have been changed.

  The rework of the Logbook View was a major undertaking. Please test all features of it
